A new Innovation Cohort focused on increasing diversity of apprenticeship participants will begin in early October 2020. This team-based technical assistance opportunity gives states a chance to deeply explore the challenges and opportunities around increasing apprentice diversity, discuss best practices, learn from peers and experts, and develop an action plan.

States interested in participating should click here to register by Monday, September 21, 2020.

Participating states should expect to participate in 6 virtual cohort meetings and spend approximately 3-4 hours per week on state specific action learning “assignments” between meetings. The virtual meetings will start on October 7 and continue through December 16.

The Innovation Cohort can accommodate up to 8 states.  Each state participates as a team of 2 to 4 individuals. If more than 8 states apply, Maher & Maher and the Office of Apprenticeship will select teams that demonstrate engagement and readiness through concrete challenge and success statements in their registration form, and also consider past Innovation Cohort participation.

Additional information on this technical assistance opportunity is available in the Innovation Cohort Announcement.
